Hi Steph & Sam, I love how you two are crafting a unique day that reflects what is important to you, namely creating a memorable experience for your community, and celebrating at a gorgeous venue nestled in the redwoods that showcases why you love living in the Bay Area.
I am available to help you make sure that the moments that are important to you are captured to remember for all time. I'm happy to share vendor recommendations or to help you make decisions that will make sure you enjoy your day. I want you to feel supported while you plan this incredible day. On the day, I'll guide you through the different parts and make sure you get what you need, even if that's just a glass of water or wine!
When it comes to photo-taking, I let you focus on how happy you are to be marrying your best friend while capturing all the fun. I use simple prompts and movement to keep things feeling easy. My two big goals are to capture natural and candid photos of you and your guests, as well as showcase the stunning natural beauty of the place you've chosen for your celebration.

On the wedding day I show up as a calm presence who keeps the schedule moving and makes sure you are enjoying yourself along the way. I want you to feel comfortable enjoying a laugh with your friends and family and maybe get completely lost in sweet moments with your partner.
I find that you and your partner know each other well and that shows in the way you hold each other. You have beautiful ways of relating to each other and my job is to find them. Often something as simple as me telling you to move your hand to your partner's back or chest is all is takes to make a photo feel complete.
I am always looking to take photos in the best light and without distractions in the background. I pay attention to where trees are, where horizon lines are, and how I can use negative space to strengthen my composition. I know that a strong photo will capture an emotional moment, that is well composed in beautiful light.
I do much more than document your day. Starting on our initial consultation call I help you understand what you want from your day so we can shape it and plan for it in advance.
I am always available for questions as you plan your wedding. Starting six weeks before your wedding I reach out to start my 3 point planning process. I ask to see your timeline, send you my photo planner questionnaire and then we get on an in-depth call 1-2 weeks before your wedding.
I offer my honest opinion when you need help deciding on what to prioritize. I'll let you know if something may potentially be stressful and I'll usually offer a couple of different ways to achieve the same goal for you to consider.
After the wedding day, your photos go through a 4 step process to get selected and color corrected. My editing style mimics the tones and warm colors of Kodak portrait film.
I deliver sneak peeks within one week of your wedding and the full gallery within two months of your wedding.
Your print-ready photos are uploaded to an online gallery that is easy to share with friends and family. All coverage includes a high-resolution download.

"Manali captured the magic of the day perfectly without feeling like she was "directing" us. I'm so glad we worked with Manali!! She felt like a perfect guiding presence when we weren't sure where to go or what to do, but really let us be us - and that shows through her photos."

• Custom designed by Manali with your favorite photos selected in your gallery
• Hardcover, linen or leather
• 36 pages
My albums include a standard 36 pages because it's enough for most full day weddings. Many photographers will sell a 20 page album and then you end up having to buy a lot more pages or leave out lots of photos but you won't have that experience with me.
I work with the highest quality album maker I could find. Albums are handmade in the US with long-lasting archival materials. You can choose from a variety of beautiful colors and materials.
Engagement sessions are a fantastic way for you to get some experience having your photo taken before the wedding day and they're a lot of fun!

3 hours is best if you want to include your dog, travel up to 1 hour outside of SF, or simply want a longer session
Thanks for asking! After we get on a call and make sure working together is the right fit, the next step is to sign a contract and pay a deposit. After that, your date is blocked off on my calendar for your wedding only.
I'll send you an email outlining next steps, and if we are doing an engagement session we can start planning that as soon as you're ready. I'm available by phone or email whenever you have questions from the moment of booking. At the very least, you'll hear from me about 6 weeks before your wedding to kick off my 3-point planning process to get us aligned and ready for your day.
My albums are very popular and for good reason, they are GORGEOUS.
I work on the design, you approve it before it's printed and boom, you get an heirloom keepsake for life made in the USA with luxurious materials.
While most photographers only include 20 pages my albums include 36 pages, which is plenty for most weddings.
Choose your favorite photos in your gallery.

Select between 80-120 photos in your gallery. I will curate the flow and get it down further to approximately 80-90 photos as needed. I also re-edit all of those files once more to make sure they are uniform as a group and ready to be bound together in an album. If you need your gallery re-hosted, no problem that can be put back up quickly.
Approve the design.

After you’ve selected your favorite photos I will get to work on the design. It can be hard to imagine the transformation from small computer monitor to holding the book in your lap, but it completely changes the game. The images come to life when they are transformed into printed pages that you can flip through. You’ll receive a link to your design so you can review it and request changes so you end up with something that you love.
Choose your cover preferences.

Choose from leather or silk, include an image window or leave it simple and bold, and choose a color that represents your wedding.
