This engagement session turned out to be an iconically romantic San Francisco styled shoot without our trying. Our first stop was chosen by Andrea, the bride to be and San Francisco native. A small stretch of almost secret beach, north of Baker Beach that is accessed by a windy foot path. It has instantly surpassed all my other preferred spots for Golden Gate Bridge engagement session photos and become in my opinion the best place to take your photo in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. And though we were more interested in the beach than the bridge you can’t ignore it’s imposing beauty when it’s staring you in the face on a bright and sunny day.
Serendipitously, we hit our next location, Pier 7, a little later than expected which put us there as sun light was fading and the city lights were flickering on. In short, the lighting was nothing short of dreamy and magical.
And of course my lovely models/ love birds, Andrea & Ian, were awesome, just look at how much fun they clearly have together. My favorite moment: When they found a log propped up on rocks on the beach and balanced their way towards one another.
