Andrea & Srini's Wild West Wedding

Andrea and Srini’s wedding this past weekend on May 5th may be the most unique one I have witnessed so far. Situated at Long Branch Farms, a recreation of an old Wild West Town that could outshine anything done in Hollywood, and attended by many Indian guests wearing beautiful saris– that is of the Asian subcontinent, not to be confused with Native Americans– this was one enjoyable mixer of a cultural cocktail. Andrea and Srini had already traveled to where Srini’s parents live in Southern India and participated in a full traditional Indian wedding at the end of 2011, so I suppose they were equally serious about having their all American wedding as well!

Andrea and Srini were absolutely adorable together. They wrote their owns vows and had their friend Badri offiate. Everyone was completely charmed when Srini read a Dr. Suess style love poem to Andrea during their vows.

At night the full moon came out, the brightest of the year! So we made sure to have a moonlight photo shoot after dark. Please enjoy the photos!

Many congratulations to Andrea & Srini!

I had the pleasure of working this event with the following vendors:

Ambrini Events

Reppettos Florist

DJ Keith Switzer

The Cakemaker

Thank you to Alicia for being a great assistant photographer for me on this wedding.

Three things to know about getting married at San Francisco City Hall

• You can pick up a marriage license from any county in California. Just make sure it is within 90 days of your date
• The best light and my favorite portrait location is on the 4th-floor North balcony
• San Francisco City Hall’s best kept secret: Did you know you can get married at SF City Hall without making a wedding appointment? You just need to hire your private officiant, and I can help you plan a wedding like this.
