Cavallo Point Lodge, Sausalito Wedding: Jenny & Travis

Jenny & Travis lucked out with perfect sunny weather for their May wedding at Cavallo Point Lodge in Sausalito, California. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if the sun just follows these two about, even in this foggy part California, because they are incredibly warm and welcoming people. I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon with them before their wedding during a sunny yet somewhat freezing engagement session. Despite having numb fingers and noses, they were laughing the whole way through and made it really fun for me.

Fast forward to the wedding day which was even more fun, (duh!) First off I have to say I really felt the love in the room when Jenny was getting ready. She was surrounded by so many amazing women, friends and family, who were clearly excited to see her getting married to her partner-in-crime, Travis.

I don’t know you can find a more stunning place to do your first-look wedding photos than in front of the Golden Gate Bridge, so naturally that’s where we began! Next Jenny & Travis signed their beautiful ketubah, the Jewish marriage contract, together before their ceremony. Their vows were very sweet and I spied a number of people tearing up as Travis described his hopes for their future together. The day was beautiful and I was glad to be a part of it, especially as it turned into one incredible dance party in the evening! Please enjoy Jenny & Travis’ wedding highlights below.

Three things to know about getting married at San Francisco City Hall

• You can pick up a marriage license from any county in California. Just make sure it is within 90 days of your date
• The best light and my favorite portrait location is on the 4th-floor North balcony
• San Francisco City Hall’s best kept secret: Did you know you can get married at SF City Hall without making a wedding appointment? You just need to hire your private officiant, and I can help you plan a wedding like this.
