Rachael and Zach had a gorgeous late fall wedding in October at a luxurious French style winery in Sonoma’s wine country, at Chateau St. Jean in Kenwood, CA.
If I could sum their wedding up in three words it would be BIG BEAUTIFUL FUN. BIG because the energy level was high, these two were ecstatic to get married and their guests were equally ecstatic to bear witness. BEAUTIFUL because guess what? This wedding was stunning! The florals, the details, the location, the couple, yum yum yum, I ate it all up and so did everyone else. FUN no doubt ensued, ‘nuf said. Check it out!
Wait not enough said– later on in the evening portion of the photos you will see Zach & Rachael have a first-second look. Yes you read that right. Rachael changed into a silky new dress for dancing and since they originally saw each other down the aisle at the ceremony while she wore her first dress, they used this outfit change as a chance to do a “first look.” That’s the first time I’ve seen a couple do that and it was so fun.
All the details were on point. Long banquet tables draped in velvets of forest green and rusty red, mamma mia! And the groom’s suit (which was custom made in London) to the bride’s sexy, lacy and beautiful dress, and the bride’s second gorgeous dress, and the sneakers the couple changed into for dancing. Seriously! Rachael embroidered their wedding date onto their shoes in roman numerals. How cool is that! Scroll down for all the goodness. Enjoy!
Many thanks to Natalie Ngo for assisting me as the second photographer at Rachael & Zach’s wedding.
