I love January weddings, but maybe I’m partial to them because I also got married in January. But what a great way to start the new year, right? And I couldn’t more excited to start my year off with Chris & Cherlei, as theirs was my first wedding of 2016. They killed me with sweetness, just see for yourself in the photos below. Congrats Chris & Cherlei!

You can really feel it when a couple`s community is integral to their day. After 15 years together, Sarah & Matt`s wedding guests were so excited to see these two get married. Some folks sang, and some played music during the ceremony, and a friend officiated. When it came time to walk down the aisle after the ceremony, I was moved by how many folks were inspired to reach out and touch them. It shows a deep sense of connection to their community.
For me too, it was a beautiful day to be a part of. They are silly, and they are loving with one another, and we had a blast taking photos together. It fills my heart to be able to capture moments like these.
Much more about these two and their beautiful day is on the blog. Link in bio.

What an incredible celebration! Phillip & Meghana are warm, caring, and just wonderful freaking people to be around, and I am so glad I got to be a part of the fun, twice over.
They had multi-day, multicultural Hindu and Catholic wedding ceremonies and an incredible party to celebrate it all at San Francisco`s Officer`s Club in the Presidio.

Squish. These two share a calm intimacy. It was a delight to see how they light each other up.
I`m digging the contrast between the serenity of the redwoods and their urban reception location. This is the second wedding I`ve had like that recently. That`s the beauty of an East Bay wedding-- you don`t have to choose; you can have both.

When we met, these two said they were not comfortable in front of the camera. Honestly, I get that a lot. And here they are looking comfortable in their own skin, madly in love, and killing it! 🔥
So happy for Cindy & Aliya on their beautiful San Francisco City Hall wedding.
