Natalie & Ben’s Seaside Engagement Session

I grew up in LA and went to high school there so it’s always a treat for me to hear from my old friends once they are engaged. They knew me back in the day when I just the high school dark room nerd.

I am so excited for Natalie, who will be marrying Ben later this year. We had a great engagement photo session, starting at her uncle’s yacht in the Marina Del Rey and catching dusk at the Venice Canals by the end of it. And of course, this being LA and not The Bay, the weather was amazing! Check out some of the sweet moments we captured below. Especially the ones with their adorable little puppy!

Three things to know about getting married at San Francisco City Hall

• You can pick up a marriage license from any county in California. Just make sure it is within 90 days of your date
• The best light and my favorite portrait location is on the 4th-floor North balcony
• San Francisco City Hall’s best kept secret: Did you know you can get married at SF City Hall without making a wedding appointment? You just need to hire your private officiant, and I can help you plan a wedding like this.
