Kristen & Michael had a beautiful winter wedding at Mill Valley’s Outdoor Art Club. I love this venue, it’s beautiful inside and out. It had been a rainy week and it had even rained the morning of their wedding but it cleared out enough to let them have the outdoor ceremony that they had looked forward to. In fact, their timing couldn’t have been more perfect. A light drizzle of rain came down as they were finishing their vows– it was actually incredibly romantic! Soon after, all of their guests were enjoying the shelter of a large event tent and that’s when it poured. You know what they say, it’s good luck to have rain on your wedding day. Kristen and Michael have had a good start!
It’s always fun to see what unique thing might get a bride or groom to be excited. I remember Kristen was really excited about the song she had chosen to dance to with her dad. She couldn’t wait to see his face once he recognized the song. He definitely had a great reaction, you’ll see. What
I had so much photographing these goofballs. Don’t be fooled into thinking they might be serious folks based on how good looking and stylish they are. They are playful and affectionate and just wonderful people to be around. Their guests were thrilled to celebrate their union after seeing them together for over a decade and I loved sharing the day with them too. Congrats Kristen & Michael!
P.S. Check out the unique embroidered lace on Kristen’s dress. It’s amazing! I’d never seen anything quite like it.
