San Francisco City Hall Wedding: Amanda & Marc

Amanda & Marc brightened up the grey winter skies that hung around on their wedding day with Amanda’s gorgeous fuchsia gown and the bright flowers she wore in her hair, Frida Kahlo style. They got married at San Francisco’s City Hall surrounded by a small group of their friends and family.

It’s always a pleasure for me to get the chance to see and photograph familiar faces and that was certainly the case with Amanda and Marc. I first met them a year and half ago when their friends Suzi & Jonathan got married. It was immediately clear that Amanda & Suzi were besties and that appears to remain as true as ever.

Amanda & Marc share a sweet and special connection that really shines through beautifully, and the gorgeous backdrop of SF’s city hall didn’t hurt 😉 Enjoy the photos and the slideshow

Three things to know about getting married at San Francisco City Hall

• You can pick up a marriage license from any county in California. Just make sure it is within 90 days of your date
• The best light and my favorite portrait location is on the 4th-floor North balcony
• San Francisco City Hall’s best kept secret: Did you know you can get married at SF City Hall without making a wedding appointment? You just need to hire your private officiant, and I can help you plan a wedding like this.
