Manali is a very talented and thoughtful photographer. Our wedding was held at San Francisco City Hall and she was able to beautifully capture both posed and candid shots, along with all the details of the amazing building.

wedding photography coverage

All San Francisco City Hall wedding packages include support to help you plan your perfect day. I offer recommendations for other vendors, and pre-planning help, though the thing that clients rave the most about is the gentle and expert guidance they receive every step of the way at City Hall.
I’ll tell you where to go, when it’s time for your witness to sign your license, and how to find the place in city hall that the judge has designated for your ceremony. No matter what type of ceremony you plan, I have the expertise to help. And if you want to take portraits at a second beautiful location in the city, I’ll help you plan that too.
After the wedding, you receive a gallery full of color-perfected and print-ready photos in Manali's artistic editing style. The gallery is convenient for sharing with friends and family. High resolution photos are included in the coverage price and are yours to keep forever.

As Natalie opened the door to do a first look with her groom, her two besties walked up and screamed with excitement when they saw their gorgeous friend. The groom listened to all of the commotion going on behind him while he patiently waited for his turn to see his beautiful bride next for their first look.

They`re low-fuss and in love, so naturally it was a San Francisco City Hall wedding for these two. Totally digging Julia`s blazer and mini skirt look!

I got a new inquiry and the bride said she normally feels awkward in photos and wants to make sure she doesn`t feel that way on her wedding day. I appreciate her being honest and vulnerable like that, and after photographing weddings for many years I can say that I hear that a lot from folks.
If you share that concern, here`s what I want you know. It`s your photographer`s job to make you feel comfortable while they are taking your photo. You should hire someone you know you can trust, and here`s what you can do during your search.
1. Don`t hire an agency that will send a staff photographer to your wedding. You need a photographer who will get to know you before the wedding, not a stranger. Weddings are incredibly personal and the stakes are high. In many families, there are a couple of folks who aren`t getting along and it could be awkward if your photographer accidentally put those folks next to each other in a photo.
2. Hire an experienced photographer. It can be alluring to hire a talented photographer who is just getting started in the industry but experience makes a huge difference. An experienced photographer is more confident with posing and better at putting folks at ease more quickly.
3. Read photographers` reviews and pay attention to how past clients speak about what their experience is like being photographed by them. Clients should like the photos and have enjoyed having their photo taken by the photographer.
4. Make sure you identify with the couples in the photos. There are a lot of gorgeous photos out there but make sure that the general vibe of the photos matches your vibe. If a person`s portfolio features couples not smiling much, that photographer probably has a more posed and more editiorial style, rather than a candid and natural style. While posed and editiorial is beautiful, it only works for certain folks to be directed in that way. It may be hard to pull off if you want to look and feel natural in your photos. Your wedding day is too precious, if you want to have fun, make sure you choose someone who likes to have fun!

Vows that slay are vows that leave not a dry eye in attendance. 🥲😭 (I`m not crying, you`re crying. See slide 8.) I fully admit that I cry at weddings. I always have on occasion, but I`ve gotten a lot softer since giving birth 4 years ago!
These two delivered with the romantic wedding vibes in spades. Starting with the gorgeous venue. I think a wedding at a classic San Francisco venue like the University Club of SF sets the tone by stating - you are in for a treat tonight! Also, it`s clear by those huge smiles on their faces as they are saying their vows, that they are crazy about each other. 😍

The bride is an architect, so naturally, they chose an architectural gem of SF for their wedding, the City Club of San Francisco. It`s located in the heart of downtown SF and was built in 1930, and even houses a massive Diego Rivera mural. It`s gorgeous!
