San Francisco Wedding Adventure with Jenna & Mike!

Jenna & Mike had the most adventurous wedding day I’ve ever been a part of and oh my goodness, was it fun! We rollicked around San Francisco, quite haphazardly on those steep hills, in an open air cable car trolley on wheels. I was doing my best not to knock out any of the guests as I navigated through the car with two cameras bouncing around on our fast and bumpy ride. Thankfully we made it through injury free for all! However I have to say it really was a genius way to get their small group around together. Champagne corks were popping the whole time in celebration, and it was the perfect way to show off beautiful San Francisco to the out-of-towners in the group. Our first stop was a photo op at the Palace of Fine Arts, then we headed to the Conservatory of Flowers for Jenna & Mike’s ceremony.

Now is a good time for me to mention that these crazy kids met in San Francisco a few years ago but now live in Ireland and already tied the knot in good old Vegas a year ago. This was their opportunity to get everyone they love together in the city they love. They embrace adventure and the unknown together and have a total blast in the process, and everyone who gets to join them for the ride does too!

After their ceremony outside the Conservatory of Flowers they met up with a larger group of guests for a reception at Churchill’s bar off of Market St. It wasn’t long before live musicians got the music going and everyone joined in by dancing the night away! Check out all the good times below.

A huge congrats to the awesome Jenna & Mike! It was a total pleasure to be a part of your day.

Three things to know about getting married at San Francisco City Hall

• You can pick up a marriage license from any county in California. Just make sure it is within 90 days of your date
• The best light and my favorite portrait location is on the 4th-floor North balcony
• San Francisco City Hall’s best kept secret: Did you know you can get married at SF City Hall without making a wedding appointment? You just need to hire your private officiant, and I can help you plan a wedding like this.
