Today I get to gush over my beautiful friends getting married to each other! My friend Evan and I have been volunteering as counselors at a camp for people with disabilities for years (I’ve been going for 15 years, and he’s been going longer than that) and I am honored to have had the chance to photograph his wedding to Dana.
Dana & Evan were married in the hills above San Luis Obispo on the gorgeous rustic grounds of Tiber Canyon Ranch. It was such a joy for me to hear the speeches celebrating these lovely people. A common theme that was repeated in each speech was the simple truth that Evan & Dana are two of the kindest, most caring and generous people ever and that everyone felt honored to have them in their lives. The best part about celebrating such a special union that everyone wholeheartedly supports is that it certainly is no somber occasion– everyone was compelled to get out on the dance floor and shake their stuff. It was a wonderful celebration for two incredible people, and I feel lucky to have been able to be there for all the best moments. Thank you E & D, congrats!!
