Aaron & Jen: Married amongst the Redwoods

Aaron & Jen got married on November 11th at the beautiful Mountain Terrace in Woodside, CA. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing these two before, for their engagement shoot earlier this year and though I already knew they were an adorable couple I didn’t realize what an affect their joy would have on me! They did a first look and when Jen saw Aaron for the first time she cried tears of joy! (You can see them in one of the photos below!)
For mid-November you couldn’t have asked for better weather. Though they were well prepared for their many Southern California guests and moved indoors for the meal, dancing and cake cutting and they even had s’mores and a fire pit outside for the more adventurous!

Three things to know about getting married at San Francisco City Hall

• You can pick up a marriage license from any county in California. Just make sure it is within 90 days of your date
• The best light and my favorite portrait location is on the 4th-floor North balcony
• San Francisco City Hall’s best kept secret: Did you know you can get married at SF City Hall without making a wedding appointment? You just need to hire your private officiant, and I can help you plan a wedding like this.
