Wow I’ve got to say, this was a fun wedding! Erin & Sean had their wedding at Deer Park Villa, in Fairfax, California on a beautiful warm spring day in May. Erin got ready with her bridesmaids at a nearby home rental where the owners of the property were taking care of a litter of puppies! So needless to say those cute little things were too tempting and we had to get photos of the girls with the pups.
While on site at Deer Park Villa, Erin and Sean decided to do something we called a “first look, no look.” We led Sean out in a blindfold so he and Erin could have a special moment together without him seeing her. It was really sweet! They had a moment to hold each other’s hand as they let the excitement of that moment sweep over them, before they got married.
Their ceremony took place under tall redwoods and in front of a beautiful arbor draped in gorgeous florals. Not only was the setting beautiful but the words these two people said to each other were so touching and thoughtful that everyone in the audience was tearing up. I suppose that’s the “danger” in attending a wedding where two writers are marrying each other, you’re bound to be moved to tears.
One funny highlight was during Erin’s mother’s speech when she pulled out a tiny little infants dress that she used to dress Erin up in. Erin & Sean were not expecting that! Her mother used it to express how quickly the time had passed from when she was a baby to this special day. A favorite romantic highlight of mine would certainly be their first dance. They were lovely together and the setting was gorgeous, under tall redwood trees with string lights up above. The love and fun Erin and Sean share is certainly contagious, enjoy their photos below!
