Grateful as we are in California to have rain and lots of it, after many years in drought, I was very fortunate to have planned this engagement session with Shana & Alan one sunny afternoon, during a glorious break from wet days. We went to the woods in the Oakland hills of Joaquin Miller Park. Honestly it was my first time really exploring but it wont be my last. I think this is a time when I can step back and let the pictures speak for themselves. You will clearly see that Shana & Alan have a sweet and deep connection. I felt honored to have the opportunity to meander through the woods with them one beautiful afternoon and be a part of it.
