Spending this beautiful day photographing Kara and Matt’s wedding just made me smile from ear to ear, and I’m not the only one. Everyone at their wedding was laughing, dancing and having the greatest time! The excitement and good energy were certainly contagious and I hope you may experience the same when you see their photos. But for now, let’s start at the beginning. It was a warm summer’s day in June and Kara & Matt got married at Griffith Woods, a beautiful wedding venue nestled in the woods, about an hour’s drive away from San Francisco and near Santa Rosa and the Russian River.
They were married in an amphitheater at the back of the property in front of their guests who traveled from near and far to watch them. They exchanged personal vows to one another and Kara almost got everyone crying when she teared up as she said her vows to Matt. I love the way Matt was looking at Kara throughout the ceremony. They shared many precious moments.
They followed up their beautiful touching ceremony with one heck of a dance party and a taco dinner– yes! Everything was awesome. Many congrats to the lovely couple!
