Gundlach Bundschu Winery Wedding, Sonoma: Meg + John

Meg & John had a gorgeous October wedding in the heart of Sonoma at Gundlach Bundschu Winery. They said their vows before a backdrop of vines cascading down a hill with leaves that were turning orange and red. As two English literature majors in college, their vows were incredibly moving with great funny moments sprinkled in. My absolutely favorite thing was that they vowed to love each other “until they were little ghosts.” It’s so cute, so creative, and so THEM. On that note they also had a very unique theme for their decor and I was so into it– Victorian gothic, and it was executed very tastefully by the bride Meg and Lindsey, her talented planner. You must check out the table banquet decor photos amongst the vines. The guests were in awe, it was such a dreamy wedding to be invited to! And to that end they really found the perfect venue to allow them to have a Sonoma winery wedding with that antique feel. Gundlach Bundschu is an old family owned winery going back I think 6 generations. The house they got ready at was filled with fascinating curiosities from a long past era.

Meg & John got married on the lawn next to Mary’s house and then had their dinner amongst the vines. I also loved escaping with them for sunset photos- we had a lot of fun and got photos of them in vineyard as well as on the swing nearby. I love how Meg & John make each other laugh and have an easy way with each other. It was easy for me to get into their vibe and I really enjoyed being a part of their day.
