Slip-Sliding Away at the Seward Street Slides & Japanese Tea Gardens

For their first date Mitch took Amanda to the Seward Street Slides, which obviously went over so well that they will be getting married next year. So I thought it was adorable when they chose to go there as well as the beautiful Japanese Tea Gardens in the Golden Gate Park for their engagement session. I very much look forward to photographing them again at their wedding in 2014!

Three things to know about getting married at San Francisco City Hall

• You can pick up a marriage license from any county in California. Just make sure it is within 90 days of your date
• The best light and my favorite portrait location is on the 4th-floor North balcony
• San Francisco City Hall’s best kept secret: Did you know you can get married at SF City Hall without making a wedding appointment? You just need to hire your private officiant, and I can help you plan a wedding like this.
