I am very excited to share Joss & Emily’s lovely Stinson Beach wedding today! They were married at Dipsea Gardens, a property situated on the cliff overlooking Stinson Beach. They followed the ceremony up with a reception at the Stinson Beach Community Center down the road. It was a beautiful and warm day despite the weather forecasts predicting that it would be much chillier, which happened to play out in our favor since that kept the crowds away from this popular beach town on their wedding day.
I loved how their easy laid back demeanor translated so well into their day. They walked each other down the aisle, arm in arm. Friends and family alike pitched in to bring the day together in many ways. A close friend played the violin for their processional and recessional and Emily’s mother married them. They were married right in front of an incredible view of the sun shining off the ocean behind them. Some guests even spotted whales after the ceremony!
After the cocktail hour Emily & Joss took their guests on a little walk along a trail to reach the Stinson Beach Community Center for the reception. There they had some delectable cakes waiting for them, made by another friend of theirs. For dinner they had an amazing taco bar provided by The Lunch Box.
My personal favorite highlight from their day was when we decided to go down to Stinson Beach for sunset portraits. I really love their energy and the way they are so at ease with one another while also being playful and keeping it fun. Emily totally made my day when grabbed Joss’ hand and said ” Ok, we’re going to run off into the sunset now!”
