Thomas Fogarty Winery Wedding: Shannon + Jeff

If you like babies, beautiful florals and good times, there is a lot to “oooh” and “aah” over when it comes to Shannon & Jeff’s gorgeous wedding at Thomas Fogarty Winery. They got married in early spring on a chilly but crystal clear day in Woodside, CA, allowing for fantastic views from the hilltop winery of the Bay Area down below.

Though there is another star in this show besides our lovely couple and that is their beautiful little boy! You’ll see him a lot in the photos as well as an entourage of cousins who are close in age. So it’s safe to say the unofficial theme of their wedding was definitely babies!

Though Shannon & Jeff also had an official theme for the floral and decor inspiration that I loved. They had originally planned a wedding in Hawaii in late 2020, and so like so many other couples they unfortunately couldn’t have their wedding as planned. So while they were waiting to see when they could replan their wedding Shannon got pregnant and gave birth in 2022. Once they were able to start wedding planning again they ended up booking the winery on the birthday of Shannon’s late grandma. So that got her thinking that she could honor her grandma who had been born in the 30’s by bringing in modern art deco elements, as well as made a nod to their original plan to get married in Hawaii by going big with tropical florals. And boy oh boy did that make for an amazing vision! I am OBSESSED with the florals from this wedding from Green Petals Designs.

So who doesn’t love babies & gorgeous flowers? I know I sure do! The last piece though of course that makes a wedding really special is seeing two people not just swear their love for each other, but demonstrate it. I think the proof that these two are fantastic together lies in their first dance. They surprised their guests by learning all the moves to the K-POP hit “Dynamite” by BTS. As if two parents to a 1 year old working full time aren’t busy enough! Their guests were thrilled– like scream the roof off the building thrilled. And they even requested the couple do it again as the DJ announced the last song for the evening. So yeah, it was a pretty fantastic day! Enjoy the photos.

So freaking excited for these two! They kept it sweet and simple with a private elopement in San Francisco's golden gate park and they also had an enormous amount of luck when they planned to get married on Wednesday when we had a break in the rain here in the SF Bay Area. It was such a joy to capture this moment ❤️
Just going to put this here... my first attempt at putting myself in front of the camera! Everyone else is doing it so I'm giving it a shot now too.

This is from Christy & Dory's gorgeous wedding at Straus Home Ranch, in Marshall, CA. It is one of my favorite venues and this was a very special wedding. Even though this is a more serious moment there is tons of laughter that happens between these two. Christy has the most contagious laugh. I'm sure you'll be smiling when you take a peek. Check out the link in bio.

Enjoy fleet week San Francisco. Hope you enjoy it as much as this mother of the bride!

The most memorable moments are the unexpected ones. We were getting lined up for family photos when we could hear the blue angels starting up (very loudly) and flying overhead. Emily & Will got so lucky they didn't fly over while they were exchanging their vows and only started up just minutes after they said "I do."

Also when taking this photo I was disappointed for a split second that I didn't have a long close up lens on me so I could get a better photo of the planes, but then I realized my wide angle lens was perfect for allowing me to get everyone's reaction to the planes just before they zoomed out of frame.
