This engagement session was pure magic. I met Zoe & Lucas on a beautiful warm afternoon at one of my favorite East Bay photo locations, the U.C. Berkeley Botanical Garden. However, it was these two who brought fun, goofy, playful, sexy, romantic energy to make the shoot a total blast. We started in the redwood grove as the sun was setting through the tall trees. The amazing thing was that all in one afternoon we made friends with a forest-dwelling banana slug, almost got wet by sitting on the edge of a lily pond and we ended the shoot running through a cactus patch– injury-free and all. Needless to say, it was a memorable adventure and I can’t wait for their upcoming wedding! Enjoy the photos below.
